What counts as a drain emergency?
If your property is at risk of flooding, or a blockage is severely affecting hygiene, your home interior, or your ability to live or trade in the building — that's an emergency. Don't wait it out.
Sewer water backing up into a toilet, bath or shower. Caustic and unhygienic; the backup will only get worse without intervention.
Burst or overflowing manhole covers. Sewage flooding the garden or driveway needs urgent attention before it reaches the house.
Multiple blocked drains at once. Usually means the main run is blocked downstream of all the branch drains — a problem that worsens fast.
Standing water inside the property. Stop using sinks, baths and showers and call us immediately.
