When we set up London Drain Clear Ltd to serve North London, the decision to operate 24 hours a day was not a marketing decision. It was a practical one, grounded in the reality of what drain emergencies actually look like.

In the years we’ve been working in the drainage industry, we’ve never met a blocked drain that waited politely until 9am. Sewage overflows happen at midnight. Main drains back up on Christmas Day. Our engineers don’t arrive with a set of rods and optimism. They come with high-pressure water jetting equipment capable of clearing grease, scale, and debris blockages on the spot. For more complex or recurring problems, we have CCTV camera equipment for rapid on-site diagnosis.

This means that in the majority of callouts — even out-of-hours ones — we can clear the problem in a single visit rather than attending, failing to clear it with basic equipment, and having to return with proper machinery.
